The 31-year-old was not on an NFL roster last season, albeit O’Shaughnessy spent all of 2022 with the Chicago Bears’ offseason program through the end of preseason. The Minnesota Vikings signed O’Shaughnessy to the practice squad in mid-November.

The former Illinois State product played 57 games for the Jaguars from 2017-21. O’Shaughnessy caught 104 passes for 1,022 yards and three touchdowns.

Dalton Schultz is recovering from a collision with safety Jimmie Ward on July 29. Third-year Brevin Jordan is working through a hamstring problem, and second-year Teagan Quitoriano remains on the physically unable to perform list.
