Acquiring a veteran point guard is Houston’s primary objective in 2023 free agency, The Athletic’s Kelly Iko reports, and 76ers star James Harden appears to lead the list of targets for the Rockets.

Houston enters the 2023 offseason with about $60 million in salary cap flexibility, which leads the NBA. As rumored for months, a reunion with Harden — who previously played eight-plus seasons with the Rockets at an All-Star level — is one of the leading options.
