The New England Patriots didn’t have much speed on their offense in 2023, but they did have Jalen Reagor, the former first-round draft pick that turned into a gadget playmaker.
Per Bleacher Report’s Jordan Schultz, the former TCU standout is expected to return to New England on a one-year deal.
Reagor has struggled to find a home at the next level after two different stints with the Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles. However, things quietly started to click for him with the Patriots down the stretch last season.
He worked into the offense and even caught passes at wide receiver. The team also utilized him on a running play.
But his greatest impact came on special teams, where he showed he can be a real difference-maker as a returner.

Reagor gives the Patriots some firepower on special teams, while also serving as a creative chess piece for offensive coordinator Alex Van Pelt to utilize on offense.
If the Patriots call up the right plays to get him more involved, things could get dangerous for opposing defenses.
