Report: NBC in Mix for Upcoming NBA TV Rights Negotiations

Could the iconic NBA on NBC make a return to the airwaves for the first time since 2002?

According to a new report from Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, NBC is interested in making a run at NBA television rights once again when the current media deals expire after the 2024-’25 season.

“NBC is a player,” Marchand said on The Ariel Helwani Basketball Show earlier this week. “I think they’re gonna fight with TNT for Tuesday. It’s possible they could try to do Sunday Night Basketball after Sunday Night Football.”
