There is steam building for Joe Flacco to return to the Cleveland Browns as 2024 NFL free agency draws near.
The Orange and Brown Report’s Brad Stainbrook has reported that Flacco and the Browns met this past week in Indianapolis at the NFL Scouting Combine with just one week until free agency opens up. However, Stainbrook is not the only one who has given such an indication.

In fact, Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio took it a step further, saying that Cleveland is Flacco’s priority as he gets set to hit the open market:
“Per a league source, a reunion with the Browns is Flacco’s first choice. He loves playing there — the team, the city, the fans, everything. The two sides met regarding the possibility last week, at the Scouting Combine.”
Returning to Cleveland would be Flacco accepting that there is not a starting job out there for him. ESPN’s Adam Schefter had reported that the New England Patriots are an option for Flacco but that they may have their eyes on another former Browns quarterback as well in Jacoby Brissett.
Will Flacco be back to be the backup to Deshaun Watson in 2024?
