According to a report from Jordan Schultz of The Score, Michigan State football will be searching for a new assistant coach. Schultz reported that pass rush specialist Brandon Jordan will be heading to the Seattle Seahawks as their new pass rush specialist coach, the same role he held with the Spartans.
This certainly feels like a blow for MSU on the surface, as Jordan was instrumental in multiple ongoing recruitment efforts. However, Diron Reynolds is the newly appointed defensive line coach and has a great reputation.
#Seahawks are hiring Brandon Jordan as their new pass rush specialist coach, sources tell @theScore.
Jordon most recently had the same role at Michigan State. He’s worked with the likes of Jadeveon Clowney, Cam Heyward, Chandler Jones, Von Miller, T.J. Watt and Maliek Collins.
