Bucks guard Jrue Holiday is reportedly on his way to the Trail Blazers, part of a king's ransom paid to Portland in order to acquire future Hall of Fame guard Damian Lillard.
However, with the Trail Blazers seemingly bent on becoming younger, Holiday may not be long for the Beaver State.
According to Wednesday afternoon reports from Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer and Kyle Neubeck of PHLY Sports, the 76ers are interested in acquiring Holiday from Portland once the Lillard trade is finalized.
As noted by Pompey, Holiday began his career with Philadelphia, playing for the 76ers from 2010 to ’13. He made his first All-Star appearance in his final year with the franchise.
A source confirms the Sixers are interested in acquiring Jrue Holiday. However, the source noted it’s still a little early for something given the PG was just traded to Portland. Holiday began his career with the Sixers. @KyleNeubeck was first to report the news.

Holiday just recently made his second All-Star team with Milwaukee in 2023, and was chosen for the first All-Defensive team for the third time in his career.
Philadelphia—which has yet to resolve its own trade request saga with guard James Harden—opens its season, oddly enough, against the Bucks on Oct. 26.
