The 2023 NBA draft is mere days away, which means the Oklahoma City Thunder are on the verge of adding at least two rookies to their roster.
The Thunder own two draft picks in this class, No. 12 and No. 37. But this shouldn’t stop them from trading back late in the first round or early in the second round if they really like an available prospect.
One possibility is Arkansas forward Jordan Walsh, who continues to rise on boards and will not be available by the 50th pick. The 19-year-old conducted a workout for the Thunder in a pre-draft visit, per Locked On’s Rylan Stiles.

His workout was prior to the DEN trade, OKC would need to get back in that range to get him. He will not last to 50 pic.twitter.com/JP2bQJ91TP

Walsh spent one season in college. In 36 games last season, he averaged 7.1 points on 43.3% shooting, 3.9 rebounds and 0.9 assists. He also shot 27.8% from 3 on two attempts.
The 2023 NBA draft is scheduled for Thursday, June 22. A full list of prospects who’ve met with the Thunder can be read here.
