An injury to cornerback Jaycee Horn was one of the things the Carolina Panthers could least afford here in 2023. But unfortunately, it feels as though they’re going to have to deal with it.
According to ESPN senior NFL reporter Jeremy Fowler, Horn is expected to miss “multiple weeks” due to his hamstring injury. The third-year defender sustained the setback, one he would not return with, towards the end of the second quarter of Sunday’s season-opening loss to the Atlanta Falcons.

The 2021 eighth overall pick had his rookie campaign shortened by a broken foot after just two and a half games and went on to miss a combined four outings last season due to a rib injury and a broken wrist.
