As the New Orleans Saints look for a quarterback after Derek Carr refused to be traded from the Las Vegas Raiders, SI’s Albert Breer says they could turn to the former first overall pick of the Cleveland Browns. As Baker Mayfield is set to hit free agency, Breer suggests the Saints may have interest:
“Another quarterback to watch in free agency for New Orleans would be Baker Mayfield. The Saints staff was high on Mayfield ahead of the 2018 draft, and those old draft evals can definitely have an impact down the road with guys as they get older and hit free agency, especially when there’s a need that can be tied to it.”

Should Mayfield find a new home in New Orleans, the Saints would make his fourth team in less than a year.
