The Eagles could be forced to move some personnel around after Lane Johnson was forced to exit Sunday’s shocking 20-14 loss to the Jets with an ankle injury.
Jeff McLane of The Inquirer reports that Johnson is feared to have suffered a high-ankle sprain that could cause him to miss some time.
RE: Lane Johnson potential left high ankle sprain. Typically, a 3-4-week injury, but O-linemen tend to come back earlier.
Issue for Lane is he came back early from right ankle one and it caused misery for years after.

Johnson is an All-Pro and the best right tackle in the NFL, but more importantly, Philadelphia is 84-48-1 in games in which Johnson has played and 13-22 when he is not in the lineup.
Johnson hasn’t allowed a sack over his last 2,423 snaps, per PFF, dating back to Week 11 of the 2020 season.
The three-time All-Pro is a quick healer, but if he can’t play, Philadelphia could turn back to Driscoll or move Fred Johnson or Tyler Steen over to right tackle.
