The Indianapolis Colts interviewed Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson for their vacant head coach job, but he informed the team he will not be leaving his current role.
Johnson was one of the biggest names in the candidacy for head coaching, but it appears he wants to continue with what the Lions have done under head coach Dan Campbell.

The Colts are still going through the process of hiring a head coach. They’ve interviewed seven candidates, including Johnson, and have four more interviews requested from coaches currently in the playoffs.
Johnson is likely to be a big name again next season, but the hope is the Colts won’t be searching for another head coach at that time.
