Gardaí are continuing to appeal for witnesses to a fatal road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle that occurred over a month ago.
The incident took place on the N21 at Killally, Castleisland in County Kerry on Sunday, January 22.
The collision occurred at approximately 7:50pm on the Sunday evening and gardai are looking to speak with a number of motorists who are believed to have been travelling along this route at the time.
"The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries to persons were reported," a Garda spokesperson stated after the crash took place.
Jason Crean (24), from Ogham Rian in Tralee, was later named as the motorcyclist who died in the collision.
An examination of the scene was conducted by Forensic Collision Investigators.
"Gardai are appealing for any witnesses to this incident to come forward.
"Any road users who may have camera footage (including dash-cam) and were travelling on the N21 near Killally between 7:30pm and 8:15pm are asked to make this footage available to gardai," a spokesperson added.
