People across Ayrshire will this weekend remember the valiant efforts of the men and women who have fought and lost their lives since the First World War.
Scores of annual Remembrance service events will take place across the region, starting this Friday, November 11.
Services of Remembrance will be held between Friday 11 November - Sunday 13 November 2022 across Ayrshire.

North Ayrshire
- 10.30am: The parade assembles in Irvine High Street. 10.40am: The parade departs for the War Memorial. 10.50am - 11.20am: The service and wreath laying take place. 11.20am: The parade departs for Old Parish Church and 11.30am - 12.30pm: Church service takes place. Depute Provost John Sweeney will attend the Irvine event, while Provost Dickson will attend the service in Kilbirnie Auld Kirk at 10.45am and afterwards will lay a wreath at the Cenotaph on behalf of the Council.
- 10.35am: March off at Abbey car park in Kilwinning and arrive at cenotaph at 10.50am
