Reform UK’s London mayoral candidate Laila Cunningham has accused the Met of failing to properly police the West End including Oxford Street.
Just days after being unveiled by Nigel Farage as his party’s contender for City Hall, she also stepped up her calls for Scotland Yard chief Sir Mark Rowley to be fired over the force’s vetting scandal which saw up to 22,000 recruits not properly checked and the grooming gangs in London row.
