The suspicious death of a female whose body was found Monday afternoon in a building in Englewood on the South Side has been ruled a homicide.
A Tuesday autopsy determined the female victim, whose age wasn't known, died of multiple injuries from an assault, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
She was found inside a building in the 7000 block of South Normal Boulevard about 4:10 p.m. Monday, Chicago police said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. Her name hasn't been released.
No arrests have been made.
