Red Bull, the popular energy drink brand, has announced that it is currently conducting an investigation into Christian Horner, the team principal of its Formula One team, following an allegation of misconduct towards a team employee. In a statement released on Monday, the company stated that it takes such matters very seriously and has initiated an independent investigation, which is being carried out by an external specialist barrister.
The allegations against Horner were initially reported by Dutch publication De Telegraaf. Although the specifics of the misconduct have not been disclosed, it is speculated that it pertains to Horner's management style, which has been described as aggressive.
