PATNA: Under the newly introduced Agnipath scheme, the defence ministry will start the recruitment process for Agniveers in Bihar from October 7 and it will continue till December 20, 2022 in a phase-wise manner.
The youths in the age group of 17 years and six months to 23 years will be recruited in the armed forces, including Army, Navy and Air Force, for the short-term period of four years.
Aspirants with the minimum qualifications of Class XI and XII will be eligible to apply for the post of general duty, clerk, storekeeper, technician in aviation, ammunition examiner and tradesman.
They can apply for these posts on the defence ministry's portal till August. The ministry will recruit at least 46000 Agniveers in various categories this time.
