Liverpool legend Graeme Souness has sent some advice to Everton goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
The former Reds midfielder was speaking on Talksport about the Blues stopper following the Merseyside derby draw. Everton had to settle for a point as they were held to a goalless stalemate at Goodison Park at the weekend.
Pickford made a number of saves to deny Liverpool from scoring throughout the game. In particular, the England goalkeeper denied Roberto Firmino on several occasions

Souness has spoke about Pickford to offer the goalkeeper some advice, as well as explain why one of the player’s qualities would “really annoy” him.
“I would suggest to him, which draws attention to himself, that every time he makes a save he’s quickly on his feet and berating his defenders.
“If I was on the same team that would really annoy me. I think he should get that out of his game.
“Sometimes it’s not about defenders making mistakes that he has to make saves, sometimes it’s e saves from people who have just done something very clever.
Souness added: “It comes across as if he’s upset with his team-mates. Just make the save, get a pat on the back from your mates and get on with it.
“Don’t go berating your own team-mates.”
