Real Madrid begin their bid for a 15th Champions League title as they host Union Berlin tonight.
Carlo Ancelotti’s side were well-beaten in the semi-finals last season by eventual winners Manchester City, and it would be no surprise if the two clubs met again further down the line.
For now though the focus is the group-stage, with Madrid up against Napoli, Braga and Union Berlin as they look to reach the knockout stages with minimal fuss.
It would be no surprise if Jude Bellingham took centre stage on his first Champions League appearance for the club, having much a stunning start to life in Madrid. The midfielder has five La Liga goals in as many games so far this season.
