Real Madrid legend to leave Spanish giants after 23 years

Madrid (Organization) Real Madrid Dani Carvajal Florentino Perez the Champions League

Real Madrid have confirmed veteran defender Dani Carvajal will leave the club this summer when his contract expires.
Carvajal has been at Real Madrid for 23 years since joining the club as a young boy, and spent 10 years in the youth age groups before moving into the senior side in 2013.
During his time at the Spanish giants, Carvajal has won the Champions League on six occasions, as well as the Spanish title four times.
Real Madrid president Florentino Perez hailed Carvajal as a “legend” of the club, and said Madrid will “always be his home”.
Carvajal is set to be honoured by the club during their final home game of the season this weekend.
