- Real Madrid have confirmed veteran defender Dani Carvajal will leave the club this summer when his contract expires.
- Carvajal has been at Real Madrid for 23 years since joining the club as a young boy, and spent 10 years in the youth age groups before moving into the senior side in 2013.
- During his time at the Spanish giants, Carvajal has won the Champions League on six occasions, as well as the Spanish title four times.
- Real Madrid president Florentino Perez hailed Carvajal as a “legend” of the club, and said Madrid will “always be his home”.
- Carvajal is set to be honoured by the club during their final home game of the season this weekend.
