A woman who has undergone a dramatic plastic surgery transformation to look like a "real-Barbie" has left followers stunned with a snap of her face before going under the knife. Dalia Naeem, 29, is so keen to look like a living version of the iconic doll, it's believed she's undergone 43 plastic surgery procedures to copy her look.
As previously reported by The Star, Dalia, who works as a presenter and actress in her home country of Iraq, recently shared a video of her face on Instagram, showing off her most recent surgical enhancements.
Many followers can't get over just how much Dalia has changed in the years since she began her transformation, with a before pic of her viewed to be almost completely unrecognisable.
In the footage, Dalia, who is known by the nickname 'Iraqi Barbie' could be seen posing beside her make-up artist, who could be heard to say, "You look so beautiful, my dear. Like Barbie."
In response, Dalia, who lives in the capital city of Baghdad, complimented the beautician, telling her: "Your make-up is Barbie."
It's believed Dalia's monthly surgical procedures include lip fillers and breast enlargement surgery. With her small nose and full pout, it appears as though she's getting closer to her dream of looking just like Barbie, but not everybody is too sure about her look.
One person commented, "Zombie", while another described Dalia as a "devil Barbie". Many others however have been left fascinated by Dalia's unique appearance, and she now boasts more 996,000 followers on Instagram and a further 43,900 on TikTok.
She's also appeared in a number of plays and TV shows in her home country, which have been well-received.
This comes after a woman said to have the world's largest cheekbones hit back at trolls who accused her of getting her cheeks modified for hype, declaring, "I look the way I do because I like this."
Opening up about her plans to enhance them further, Anastasia Pokreshchuk remarked that her cheekbones now feel "a little bit small", and she feels ready for a "refresh".
