The Boston Celtics put on a dominant performance against the Washington Wizards in the US capital on Monday night, winning 126-107. Particularly impressive among the Celtics’ starters was All-NBA forward Jaylen Brown, who scored a game-high 36 points.
The Celtics established early dominance in the game, outscoring the Wizards 42 to 19 in the first quarter of the game alone. They maintained a strong defense throughout the match to the point where head coach Joe Mazzulla elected to bench his starters for the entirety of the tilt’s final frame. The team also demonstrated good chemistry and balance among the starting lineup.
The Celtics now find themselves the sole undefeated ball club left in the league’s Eastern Conference at 3-0, their 2023-24 campaign off to a great start.
