Ahead of their UEFA Champions League encounter with Celtic, RB Leipzig forward Christoph Baumgartner said he dreamt of playing in stadiums like Celtic Park due to the renowned atmosphere associated with the ground.
And it was the 25-year-old who made a dream start last night, when he fired his side in front after 23 minutes.
Celtic endured a fair bit of pressure thereafter, before a moment of magic from Nicolas Kuhn levelled the scoreline.
The German struck again on the stroke of half-time, and Reo Hatate put the game out of sight in the second half.
Speaking after the match, Baumgartner was honest in his assessment of the game, suggesting he and his teammates simply weren't good enough on the night.
He said: "After they equalised, Celtic were definitely the better team.
"Many of their big chances were our own fault, especially the equaliser, when we allowed Nicolas Kuhn to go on his left foot and shoot.
"Celtic were well organised and put us in trouble when we played it out from the back.
"We were missing something against Celtic and against Borussia Dortmund. Everyone needs to look in the mirror and ask themselves whether that was enough."
