The Baltimore Ravens selected wide receivers Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman in the first round of the NFL draft just two years apart. The hope is that the duo can flourish alongside one another for years in purple and black, especially with how much talent each has.
When speaking to the media, Flowers discussed working in tandem with Bateman this season, especially with both expected to take on massive roles in the offense. He mentioned how they’re going to work every day, trying to get better as best they can.
“Honestly right now, we’re just coming out every day and going to work. [We’re] trying to get better every day. We’re just focused on day-to-day, and we’re focused on the first game. We’re just coming out every day trying to work, get better, listen to our coaches, and execute everything as best we can.”
Flowers burst onto the scene during his rookie season, while Bateman has struggled with injuries over his first three professional seasons. However, if the two can get it going at the same time in 2024, it could help the team’s offense reach new heights and help them win another Super Bowl.
