Ravens S Kyle Hamilton leaves training camp practice early on Wednesday

The Baltimore Ravens have held training camp practices over the last week as the start of preseason quickly approaches. Training camp sessions are held during some of the hottest times of the year, which can lead to exhaustion and fatigue for those who are practicing. Wednesday’s temperature in Baltimore reached over 90 degrees, with the heat index feeling much hotter.

During team drills, Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton collided with tight end Isaiah Likely. Following the collision, Hamilton returned to the field for one play, but pulled up and left the field, heading inside with the team’s training staff.

After practice, Jamison Hensley of ESPN reported that the safety is dealing with cramping, which can be expected on hot days like it was on Wednesday.

Hamilton wasn’t the only player who ended up dealing with something during practice.

The Ravens will have another training camp session on Thursday in which the temperature in Baltimore is expected to reach around 95 degrees.
