The Baltimore Ravens have had plenty of success under current head coach John Harbaugh. He has accumulated a 137-88 regular season record, a 11-8 playoff record, and one Super Bowl Championship.
On Tuesday, it was reported by ESPN that Baltimore is nearing a contract extension Harbaugh. The veteran coach is going into the final year of his current deal and even though the Ravens lost the last six games of the regular season, they were still competitive so a contract extension makes sense for Harbaugh.

Harbaugh hasn’t spoken to the media since right after the team’s Week 18 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers. Going into the last year of a contract while looking for a new defensive coordinator might have made any new hire question job stability, so it makes sense that an extension is on the table for Harbaugh at this point.
