The Baltimore Ravens have plenty of needs that they address in the 2022 NFL draft. The team could go in a multitude of different directions, including edge rusher, where they could use a few more quality pieces to fill out their rotation.
One of the best prospects available in the 2022 class is edge rusher Kayvon Thibodeaux. He was once widely regarded to be a top-three pick, but it has been rumored that he could potentially fall on draft night. If that is the case, Baltimore could look to either trade up or just stay put and draft the former University of Oregon star.

Thibodeaux offers an enticing blend of size, speed and skill. He stands at around 6-foot-4 and weighs around 254 pounds, and uses that frame to win against offensive lineman in multiple different ways. He is an explosive athlete and plays with an extremely high motor, which both fit what the Ravens have been looking for in potential prospects.
In college, Thibodeaux totaled 126 total tackles and 19 sacks as well as seven passes defended and three forced fumbles. He dominated his competition, and was able to garner seven sacks in just 10 games during his final season on the field for the Ducks.
It’s rather unlikely that Thibodeaux will be available for Baltimore to even trade up for, but in the rare event that he is it would likely be worth the cost of moving up if he ends up dropping anywhere in the 8-9 range. If he ends up falling all the way to No. 14, the Ravens should make Thibodeaux their first pick of the 2022 draft with zero hesitation.
