Rare Queen Elizabeth II coins and what their value will be in 10 years

Many people will only ever remember Queen Elizabeth's face on our paper notes and coins.

But following the death of the 96-year-old monarch, that is about to change. Queen Elizabeth II was the longest reigning sovereign to ever appear on British currency, ascending to the throne in 1952 after the death of her father, King George VI.

With her passing last week, her eldest son Charles has ascended to the throne. King Charles III's face will now replace his mother's on coins and notes. Currency bearing the Queen's image will soon be discontinued and phased out, reports The Mirror.
