CHENNAI: Naam Tamilar Katchi chief coordinator Seeman on Monday appeared before the Valasaravakkam police station acknowledging the summon issued to him to inquire about the rape and extortion complaint filed by the actress Vijayalakshmi.

Meanwhile, Vijayalakshmi submitted a letter to withdraw her complaint after visiting the Valasaravakkam police station early on Saturday alleging that she was not forced by anyone, but she spoke to Seeman. However, Seeman claimed that he never spoke to her after 2011.
