Rangers warn fans of 'over zealous' police search procedures ahead of Frankfurt clash in Seville

Rangers have warned fans over 'over zealous' searches from police in Seville.

Light Blues supporters are beginning to arrive at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan Stadium for the Europa League showpiece with Frankfurt.

But Spanish cops are removing battery packs, ear pods, and ladies make up bags from Gers fans.

The Ibrox club believe all the above items should be allowed and have referred the matter to UEFA security.

A Rangers spokesman said: “Our stewards on the ground are reporting that the police are being over zealous in search procedures and removing battery packs ear pods and ladies make up bags.

"We have referred to UEFA security.
