Rangers have loaned Josh McPake to Scottish Championship club Queen's Park on a season-long deal.
The winger's move to the Spiders had been speculated earlier this month amid reports moves abroad could beckon for him after spells at Morecambe and Tranmere Rovers last season. A mix of injury and limited minutes made it two frustrating spells in England's third and fourth tiers in the last term but McPake impressed in the early stages of pre-season back at Auchenhowie with Giovanni van Bronckhorst's Ibrox side.
He netted in their opening friendly victory over Partick Thistle, however, was then left behind for their warm weather training camp in Portugal. The former Scotland youth international has since been turning out for the club's youth squad across various friendlies. Queen's Park manager Owen Coyle has opted to bring him in as they look to solidify themselves as a Championship club after promotion from League One in May. McPake has made one senior appearance in Light Blue.

Coyle said: "We are delighted with the loan of Josh from Rangers. After three loan spells down south he was looking for a good club in Scotland.
"We have been in contact with him over the last few weeks and are very pleased that Josh has chosen our club to further develop.
"Josh has trained very well during these weeks, so he is in great shape to immediately make an impact in our team."
