Rangers winger Alex Lowry scored twice as Scotland under-19s kicked-off their UEFA under-19 Elite Round matches in Hungary with a 2-1 win over Turkey.
After the sides were locked at 0-0 at half-time, a red card for Turkey gave Scotland the upper hand, and Uddingston's Lowry opened the scoring shortly afterwards.
After Akgun had levelled for Turkey, Scotland were awarded a penalty and Lowry netted the second of his brace.
Scotland continue their tournament against hosts Hungary on Saturday, and Israel on Tuesday.
