Rangers fans have showed their support to their young prospect Lowry after hearing the awful news, reports Glasgow Live. The 19-year-old midfielder is a product of the club's youth system after signing when he was just 10.

One well-wisher said: "So sorry for your loss. Stay strong. She'll be so proud of you."

A second added: "There will never be the right words when you suffer a loss so significant, but all your fans and the whole of your Rangers family. My thoughts are with you and your family at this difficult time."
