GIOVANNI VAN BRONCKHORST will hold talks with Alfredo Morelos today as he seeks to integrate the striker back into his Rangers squad.
Morelos was left out of the group for the trip to PSV Eindhoven in midweek as Rangers clinched their place in the group stages of the Champions League.
Boss Van Bronckhorst expressed his concerns over the fitness and mentality of the Colombian just days after he was sent off during the draw with Hibernian.
Morelos had to watch on as Antonio Colak continued his fine scoring form and took his tally for the season to seven with a brace against Ross County on Saturday.
Now the 26-year-old will have the chance to convince his manager that he is committed to the cause as Rangers prepare for the final days of business in the transfer window.
Van Bronckhorst said: “I’m happy with Antonio. He’s in a very good moment. The start he had for us has been fantastic.
“We just have to make sure we keep pushing him and he keeps giving the performances we want.
“Morelos worked hard this week so I’ll sit down [on Sunday] and speak with him and his future.
“He’s still our player, he knows what he has to do to become available again. The first week’s reaction he showed was very positive.”
