KRIS BOYD admits Rangers' heavy defeat to Celtic has given him nightmares ahead of their Champions League game with Ajax tonight.
Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men take to the big stage tonight in Amsterdam.
The Light Blues will play their first Champions League match in 12-years.
Their 4-0 thumping at the hands of Celtic on Saturday hasn't boosted the confidence levels ahead of tonight's game.
And ex-Ibrox striker Boyd admits he's fearful of a similarly poor performance.
He told Sky Sports: "I don't need to see these goals again (against Celtic). I've seen enough of them.
"They gave me nightmares on Saturday night and I don't need any more tonight.
"Ajax, year after year, have got to perform at a level that is acceptable to their fans. They're a massive football club and we've already seen the spending power.
"The one thing that Ajax have got over a lot of clubs in Europe is that they seem to generate the sales through their own players and then they develop again and sell on again.
"They're very good at bringing players through and and giving them an opportunity.
"Steven Bergwijn has come in as well, he's going to be a threat to Rangers. Rangers fans know what Calvin Bassey is all about.
"There are other players in that team that can cause Rangers problems so they're going to have to perform to the level they have showed in some of the games in Europe if they're going to get anything tonight.
"It's alright saying Ajax have started the season well, PSV had as well and Rangers were more than a match for them.
"There are little things you can look at and say Rangers have got an opportunity to go to the Netherlands tonight and get something but you feel Ajax are a step up from PSV.
"One thing about Rangers is they don't lose many goals in Europe. They always seem to be in the tie, in Europe anyway.
"It was a different story at Celtic Park at the weekend but in Europe they always seem to give themselves an opportunity."
