Rangers-linked transfer 'target' lauded as a 'quality' signing by ex-teammate

George Hirst has backed Ipswich Town team-mate Dan Neil as a potential "quality" signing for Rangers, insisting the midfielder has all the attributes to make an impact at Ibrox.

The Scotland striker spent the second half of last season playing alongside Neil after the Sunderland captain joined Ipswich on loan in January.
