The funeral procession of Andy Goram will pass through Blantyre and one of his favourite boozers in the town later this month.
The Rangers legend will be laid to rest on Monday, July 18, with "The Goalie" passing by the Stonefield Tavern, also known as Teddies Bar at 12pm as it makes its way to Ibrox.
Andy was great friends with the regulars of the Stonefield Tavern and also made friends all over Blantyre.
His family are inviting the people of Blantyre to be at the pub to show their respects to arguably Rangers and Scotland's greatest ever stopper as the hearse and funeral cars drive up Glasgow Road.
Pub owner and pal of Andy, Stan Gordon said: "Let’s give the goalie the send off from Blantyre he deserves."
The Rangers legend was diagnosed with stage four oesophageal cancer in April. It came after he thought he was suffering heartburn and indigestion.
The icon had been in St Andrew's hospice for three weeks after he became too ill to be treated at home. Loved ones including Danny, ex-wife Miriam, Brown and former Gers striker Ally McCoist were with him in his final moments when he died on Saturday.
