The Light Blues gaffer knows the player from his time at Chelsea and the Scottish Sun say he wants a reunion in Glasgow.
The 24-year-old also is believed to have interest south of the border in shape of English Premier League new boys Burnley. The Ligue 1 hitman penned a four-year deal at his current club last summer but the same report states he has a price value of around £3.5millon.
