Rangers fans attacked by Eintracht Frankfurt thugs on streets of Seville in shocking video

Fans clashed in shocking footage in Seville last night.

Eintracht Frankfurt supporters can be seen running at the Rangers fans, appearing to provoke a fight inthe video shot ahead of the Europa League showdown last night.

The film shows men fist-fighting on the main route as Frankfurt supporters head to the stadium at Seville's Estadio Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan, the Daily Record reports.

Local people yelled at the groups throwing tables and fencing before the fighting stops.

A second clip appears to show a Rangers fan out cold amid the melee.

The footage shows the Germans walking away before they regroup and attack the Rangers fans again, rounding on two or supporters, before the video ends with one man lying on his back.

The incident happened less than 24 hours after a group of Eintracht Frankfurt Ultras tossed flares and glasses at Rangers fans as they enjoyed a late night drink.

Five Germans were arrested by Spanish police after riot cops intervened.

Tens of thousands of supporters from both sides descended on the city for the match, the vast majority of them joined in the carnival atmosphere before and after the match, despite Rangers' heartbreaking defeat when Frankfurt clinched the title in a penalty shoot out.
