A Rangers fan who went missing in Seville for over 24 hours has been found 'safe and well'.
Gers supporter Ross Kinnell, 41, from Lochgelly in Fife was last seen in a pub in Seville at 7pm after his friends left to go to the match.
Ticketless Ross was due to go the fanzone at the Estadio La Cartuja to watch a live beamback of the game but he refused to leave the boozer.
The Fife man left his wallet, passport and phone at his holiday accommodation and only has some cash on him.
It is believed Ross may also have some bruising on his face.
The painter and decorator was in the Spanish city for the Europa League Final with best mate Kevin Wilson, 43, and a crowd of friends.
Speaking to the Record, Kevin’s wife Lynne says the pair were due to fly home tonight and friends and family are becoming more worried by the hour about Ross.
She said: “My husband had a match ticket but Ross didn’t have one so they left him in a pub in Seville and arranged to meet up afterwards.
“Ross was meant to be going to the fanzone but some guys we know are saying that he refused to go and they left him in the pub.
“That’s when he was last seen last night at around 7pm local time.
She added: “After the match my husband started looking for him and couldn’t find him and eventually went back to their accommodation but he wasn’t there either.
“This morning they had to be out by 11am so Kevin packed up everything and he has all Ross’ belongings.
“He left everything in the Villa and only took out some drinking money so my husband has his phone, wallet with bank cards, passport and all is luggage.”
Lynne says her husband made his way to the train station tonight in the hope that Ross might turn up for their scheduled train.
Kevin is now back to scouring the streets looking for his pal whilst friends and family back home try to get the word out.
He has checked in with local police and hospitals and the family back home have been in touch with the British Embassy.
It comes after Renfrew man Gordon Smith, 42, was also reported missing in Seville after the Europa League Final.
Gordon became sperated from his brother in the fanzone after going to the toilet and his belongings are believed to have been stolen.
