Rangers' exact allocation for their opening-day Scottish Premiership trip to face Dundee United has been revealed.

The Ibrox side travel to Tannadice on Friday, July 31 as the Derek McInnes reign gets underway.

Rangers have been given precisely 4,390 tickets for the hotly-anticipated clash, which kicks off at 8pm.

McInnes' side still have two more friendlies before the United match.

They face Saint-Etienne at Ibrox on Wednesday evening before welcoming West Ham United to Glasgow the following Saturday.

Rangers have played a number of behind-closed-door games in pre-season thus far, most recently drawing 2-2 with Asian side Johor Darul Ta'zim.

Tochi Chukwuani's double saw them come from 2-0 down to avoid defeat.

A 1-1 draw with Kaizer Chiefs preceded that, after emphatic victories over Raith Rovers and Dunfermline before heading out to Spain for a warm-weather training camp.
