Michael Beale sent his congratulations to Malik Tillman following his PFA Young Player of the Year win.
The Rangers loanee scooped the big prize in the young player category during the awards bash last night. He was up against Celtic duo Matt O'Riley and Liel Abada plus Albion Rovers sensation Charlie Reilly for the gong but came out on top after an excellent campaign in Glasgow.
The USA international - who has returned to Bayern Munich after a season ending injury in the Scottish Cup semi-final - was signed by Giovanni van Bronckhorst last summer and was a key player under the Dutchman before Beale took over at the helm. He remained a firm favourite of the new Ibrox boss who has been keen to take up the exclusive option to make his deal permanent.

This season has has played 43 games in all competitions and experienced Champions League football against the likes of Liverpool, Ajax and Napoli. His numbers return has been impressive with 12 goals and five assists to his name. He's been the player who has often provided that spark of magic for the Light Blues when it has been needed.
After lifting his Young Player of the Year award, the Rangers boss took to social media to send his congratulations.
Sharing a picture on his Instagram stories he wrote: "Congratulations @malik.tillman PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year." alongside a clapping emoji.
He followed that up with another image with the 20-year-old holding his trophy using the clap once again.
