Jake Hastie has left Rangers after signing a permanent deal at Hartlepool United.
New Pools boss Paul Hartley has moved swiftly to snap up the former Motherwell winger, and has also signed Euan Murray from Kilmarnock for the English League Two side.
Hastie, 23, had been at Rangers since moving from Fir Park in 2019 on a four-year deal, but had been out on loan at Rotherham United, Motherwell, Partick Thistle and Linfield since then.
Hartlepool boss Paul Hartley, who is originally from Hamilton and was a hero at Celtic, told the club's website: "Delighted to get Jake in. Someone I’ve seen a lot of. He needs a change of scenery. Still a young lad.
"He needs a home and somewhere where someone can believe him. He’s got real pace. Very good in one on one situations and I know he will bring a lot of excitement."
Hastie said: "This is an exciting move for me. I'm ready to push on and help the team the best way I can.
"I've seen a lot of videos and pictures of the fans, and I can see they create an unbelievable atmosphere. I can't wait to get started."
A Rangers statement read: "Rangers can today announce Jake Hastie has departed for Hartlepool, with the clubs having reached an agreement for his permanent transfer.
"He leaves Ibrox with the best wishes of everyone at the football club."
