Randy Meisner – a founding member of the Eagles, who wrote and sang the band’s hit song “Take It to the Limit” – has died at the age of 77.
The bassist and vocalist died Wednesday (26 July) night in Los Angeles of complications from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the Eagles said in a statement published on its website Thursday (27 July).
