Has 'Animal' become the game-changer for Bollywood heroes? Here are some trade pundits offering their perspectives on this Ranbir Kapoor starrer that has sparked a conversation on the projection of heroes and the anti-hero, turning into a money-spinner at the box office.
Exhibitor and trade expert Akshaye Rathi agree that 'Animal' is a game-changer on multiple counts. He said, "It is a film that changes the entire syntax of cinema; it borders around what a lot of people consider to be extremely polarizing, and rightfully so because unless there is a conversation around a film that's aggressively polarizing. Also, a conversation generates a kind of buzz around it that we witnessed in the case of 'Animal', and that is something that worked for the film."
