Ranbir Kapoor not summoned by ED as an accused in Mahadev App case; called to understand transactions: Report

Ranbir Kapoor has been all over the news after he was summoned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in an alleged online betting case. However, a new report suggests that the actor has not been summoned as an accused.

A report in News18 stated that Ranbir has been summoned for questioning not as an accused, but to understand his knowledge of the source of money he received to promote the betting app. The ED has asked the 'Animal' star to appear at the agency’s office in Raipur, Chhattisgarh on October 6. Around 14-15 other celebrities and actors are under the ED’s scanner in the case and they will also be reportedly summoned soon.

The report also added that while Ranbir might not be part of the conspiracy, it is very important to understand the scam.
