The Los Angeles Rams are making big moves along the interior of their offensive line. After signing Kevin Dotson to a $48 million deal last week, they’re now giving Jonah Jackson a $51 million deal of his own.
Jackson played left guard for the Lions and is expected to line up there with the Rams, too. That implies Steve Avila will move from left guard to center, which is a position he played in college. Jackson’s deal includes $34 million guaranteed and is for three years.
Jackson, 27, was a starter in each of the last four years for Detroit and allowed just 24 pressures in 12 games last season.
The #Rams have agreed to terms with G Jonah Jackson on a three-year, $51 million deal with $34 million guaranteed, sources say.
