The Los Angeles Rams recently signed their entire undrafted free agent class, which they had agreed to terms with shortly after the draft. It was a group of 17 rookies, including a couple of tight ends and defensive backs.
Unfortunately for five of those players, their time with the Rams has already come to an end. The team announced it has waived five undrafted rookies: TE Roger Carter, DB T.J. Carter, LB Andrzej Hughes-Murray, DB Daniel Isom, WR Lance McCutcheon.
It would’ve been a challenge for any of those players to make the team, but it’s surprising to see the Rams waive them so soon, given the fact that they’re able to carry 90 players on the roster right now.
