The Los Angeles Rams already announced that they’ll hold four total joint practices with their three preseason opponents this summer and the schedule continues to take shape as training camp approaches. They’ll have two practices with the Chargers and one each with the Texans and Cowboys, which should make for a fun few weeks before the regular season.
On Wednesday, the Chargers announced the date of their first joint practice with the Rams, which will be hosted by Jim Harbaugh’s team. That practice will take place on Aug. 4 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. PT and will be open exclusively to season ticket members.
The Rams and Chargers will play their preseason matchup on Aug. 17, so this practice comes two weeks beforehand. Their second joint practice will presumably take place the week of their preseason game.
August 4 joint practice is the first of a scheduled two Rams-Chargers joint practices before their August 17 preseason game at SoFi. https://t.co/NGInIV0XsN

This joint practice will be one day after the Rams wrap up training camp at Loyola Marymount on Aug. 3, so they’ll stay busy even after camp concludes.
The dates of their other joint practices will be Aug. 8 in Oxnard with the Cowboys and Aug. 22 in Houston with the Texans.
